It can be very difficult to keep healthy in our modern world. We work at least eight hours a day, then rush home to make dinner, finish whatever left over work there is and then only do we get some sleep. And it probably isn't a very good sleep at that.
Our lives are often ruled by stress, by what we haven't managed to do rather than what we have. We should focus on the fact that we have managed to finish that chapter for the guide to dentistry , instead of thinking about the chapters we haven't.
And so we stress and that stress does terrible things to our health. And often we don't even have time to think about fitness, but in reality exercise is the best antidote to stress. After a long day at the office, why not take the dog for a walk, or go to the gym or yoga.
It is often the last thing that you want to do, but spending time doing something physical takes your mind off the stress, it also releases endorphins into your body which makes you happier.
In order to maintain your physical health it is necessary to maintain your fitness levels. This doesn't mean that you need to run a marathon next week – it just means that you need to find a balance between your stress levels and your energy output.
